My journey began with a simple idea: to make gift-giving a delightful experience for everyone. As a maker, I believe that every gift has a story to tell. Founded with a passion for celebrating life's special moments,  I built this online gift shop to offer a curated selection of unique items that bring joy to your home and loved ones. From charming home decor to thoughtful presents for any occasion, I strive to provide gifts that resonate with heart and intention.

I've been sewing and crafting for ever, it seems. Mum had a sewing machine, nan was always knitting, and I learnt my skills from them. There was always one of us with needles and pins on the go. I took Needlework O level when I was at school, and although I've never felt comfortable (or confident) with dressmaking, give me a roll of fabric and I can run up a pair of curtains with swags and tails by teatime!

Over the years sewing has been a means to an end. I've upholstered a lot of furniture, made coverings for headboards and matching cushion covers, all so I can achieve a co-ordinated look. But I've never really felt that I had the time to make sewing a hobby. Work and family commitments had always been my priority.

​

That was until 2020, when we were in lockdown. It was a time to reflect on my life, and make changes that probably we wouldn't otherwise had done. In 2021 my husband and I sold our house in town and moved to a bungalow in the countryside. We took on an allotment plot, and spent the next few years renovating our new home, growing fruit and veg, and generally living the good life.  During lockdown, as lots of people did, I got sewing for the NHS. I made lots of masks, bags and scrubs. This was the reignition I needed to take my sewing and turn it a hobby, and since 2020 I have been sewing most weeks.

In 2024 I started selling at craft fairs and local events. Friends and family started asking me to make things for them. This gave my the push to take my hobby to the next level. In 2025 I opened up my etsy shop. In the same year, my family brought me a brand new sewing machine, and I invested in a Cricut machine. These are my joys, I love working with both these machines.

​

I strongly believe that it's important to make the things you love, and because I love bunting and banners, these are the items I specialise in. Nothing is rushed, and the items I make are made with love and care. I have a passion for making bespoke items, so it's great receiving messages from people asking for my help. And all of this means I love what I do.

​

Life is so different than it was 10 years ago, and I love it. Nowadays, I share my time between crafting, gardening at home and at the allotment, caring for my grandchildren, and spending time with my wider family who I love more than anything.

​
